In the summer of 2012 a 31 year old Marketing professional found himself frequenting the New York City strip club scene with clients and friends. But the hustle, stale entertainment and transactional touch started to feel…off.
One evening, his friends proposed an idea: “What if we brought the dancers to us?” A house party was born—lap dances, low lighting, laughter filled his Meatpacking loft. But what began as mischief sparked a greater vision. What if the strip club could be re-imagined?
He birthed Die Happy, curated private gatherings that quietly caught fire across New York City. Hosted by some of the Cities best nightclubs, hotels and restaurants. They were safe, honest and playful. Dancers were treated with reverence, guests treated as friends, and in the pursuit of pleasure we continued to grow.
In 2018, Die Happy transformed a long standing licensed strip club into what would become Rosewood Theater—a new kind of cabaret. Not corporate. Not cold. A one-of-a-kind space with soul, where adults could gather, explore, and remember what it feels like to be free.
